The NEX Food Court at the Navy Exchange

Located in the Navy Exchange, the NEX Food Court offers a wide range of food options, from Taiwanese sandwich snacks to international phone cards. This mall is open daily, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends, and all day on holidays. The food court is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night snacks. In addition, there is a photo kiosk for passports and international phone cards.

For lunch or dinner, you can try one of NEX’s new hawker outlets. Located in Basement Two, CHICHA San Chen will replace Yuan Cha and opens a new outlet in NEX in February 2021. The hawker stalls on Level Four include 3rd Generation Laksa & Prawn Noodles, Thye Hong Fried Noodles, and Li Xin Teochew Fishball Noodles. In addition, there is Fortunate Hong Kong Dim Sum serving steamed and fried dim sum.

In Basement Two, you can find CHICHA San Chen, which will take over the former unit of Yuan Cha. It will be open from February 2021 and will serve both local and imported food. It will be situated next to Super Qin Group, a Taiwanese company that specializes in fried chicken. The Salmon Mentai is another hot favourite. If you’re hungry, head over to Chuang So Ramen for a 1-for-1 ramen promotion.

NEX Oceana, Virginia, is home to the NEX Provisions Market. The market features grab-and-go foods as well as a Starbucks Coffee Bar. There’s a selection of hot and steamed dim sum, as well as a wide range of Asian-inspired dishes. There’s also a snack corner with a huge selection of natural and organic foods and a selection of freshly baked cookies.

Besides the usual burger and fries, the NEX Guam Food Court is undergoing a $3 million renovation. Panda Express will be the newest additions to the food court, and Raising Canes will replace Popeye’s Chicken. While these restaurants are temporarily unavailable, others will open on time. In July, Subway will close permanently, while Popeye’s Chicken will close in January 2022. And the NEX will have a new restaurant for the first time in August, which will open in December.
